Hi my name is Kamrun Nahar, I'm a graphic design student at Austin Community College (ACC). I am interested in visual communication, advertising, and illustration, and I enjoy using design as a way to express ideas and solve creative problems. I like exploring different styles and approaches to better understand how visuals can communicate meaning clearly and effectively.
Outside of school, I enjoy working on creative projects such as poster design and ceramics. I am always looking to grow creatively and learn new skills, both inside and outside the classroom, and I enjoy applying what I learn to hands-on projects.

My Favorite Movie
Lion 2016 is one of my favorite movies because of its emotional storytelling. The movie stars Dev Patel, Rooney Mara, and Nicole Kidman. The film tells a deeply moving story about identity, family, and belonging, following a young boy who becomes separated from his family and later searches for his roots. What I love most about Lion is how it captures the feeling of longing and connection across cultures, while also showing the impact of memory and home. The cinematography and storytelling feel very intimate and honest, which makes the story even more impactful.
